Ullapool provides a good selection of shops: a Safeway’s Supermarket and a Costcutters shop - both are open every day including Sunday and Boots the Chemist. There is a Leisure Centre with Swimming Pool and Tennis Courts on the road north out of Ullapool. The ferry to Stornoway (Isle of Lewis) sails throughout the year. During the summer months there are boat trips to the Summer Isles (birds and seals) and sea-fishing facilities.
